The game itself, isn't that great. While the concept is good, reaching into a bag and trying to feel for an animal that matches your card, the pieces are all pretty much shaped the same. It's very difficult for even my spouse and I to differentiate between the animals.
There are much better games that go along the same concept.

My Little Pony Memory Game Review

My Little Pony Memory Game
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We received this game as a gift and discovered that this version of Memory is different from the original in one very important and disappointing way. While there are as many cards as the original version, the vast majority of the cards look the same: pink, purple, and pale blue ponies with slight variations in the colors of the manes. There are a few other objects, such as ladybugs, flowers, and butterflies, but there are also near-duplicates of each of those. For example, there is one ladybug pair with a bit of pink gingham background, and then another pair with the same ladybug and a pale green gingham background. Overall, the amount of similarity between the cards makes this an extremely difficult and tiresome game for all but the most devoted (and knowledgable) fans of My Little Pony. This version tips the balance between game and marketing gimmick, and the game loses out to an advertising ploy directed at toddlers and preschoolers. I'd highly recommend the original version instead.

Simon 2 Game Review

For me, comparing it to the thing I had when I was 11 (I'm 32 now...) this one is a disappointment.
The brain behind the game is the same, This one has far more option to be honest, but it is much smaller then the original, less durable, The sounds the game make are very screamy and havily synthesized (I guess this is because the modern thin speaker they are using insetad of the original which had radio quality speaker).
The interface was supposed to be more user friendly but the result is that it is very annoying comparing to the original which had simple switchs that were far more simple to operate.
The lens switchs are vary hard to press-My daughter really had to learn how to press hard.
The 2 players game option does add more excitment.
To conclude, the game is worth the money and still is very enjoyable for today kids - but to get ready to be disappointed if you had the classic simon back in the 80's - the game is still the same great game, but time and technology didn't do good in terms of design and construction.

Leap Frog Memory Mate Game Review

Leap Frog Memory Mate Game
Average Reviews:

Leap Frog has earned my trust and my kids have enjoyed the Leap Frog Letter Factory and several versions of Leap Frog computers. I was happy to find Leap Frog also has products for good old fashion family fun and learning that doesn't require a television or batteries. Leap Frog Bilingual Memory Mate is a memory match game for ages 3 and up that matches common pictures like houses, boats and ducks.
There are 90 cards with the words featured in English on one card and Spanish on another. I l like this game because there are really three levels of learning. First is matching the pictures. Second, each pair fits together like a two piece puzzle to let kids double check their match. Third, kids can learn the Spanish vocabulary for each object as well.
Traditionally memory match games are played with all the cards turned over while players try to remember where they've seen an object and find the match. My personal recommendation for playing with 3 & 4 year olds is to play first with all the cards up for quick matching success. Older kids will enjoy the challenge of the "memory" aspect.
The pieces to the Leap Frog Bilingual Memory Mate game are sturdy cardboard and the puzzle like edges make it even easier for little hands to pick them up.
Kids can enjoy this game independently (hallelujah!) by making their own matches or play with this game with the whole family

Moto Grand Prix Review

Moto Grand Prix

Whoa! Fantasy Flight did it again. By having publishing rights to this game, they offered the public an opportunity to play a fast, funny and, inside the limited possibilities of board games, realistic moto racing board game.
There are so many pros to this game, and I will mention some of them:
1. The possibility of building a lot of different tracks without having to buy expansions. The game come with more than 15 tracks designs, when yourself mount them using thepieces that come with the game. Amazing concept.
2. The possibility of racing with a lot more than 6 bikes without making the game being miserable slow to play. YEs, the are only sis dashboards. But the dashboards are only to keep track of some attibutes (rear tire, front tire and engine), and you can easily keep track of them on paper. As for the bikes themselves, although the bikes that come with the game are splendid, almost anything can do, if you don't use the expert rules (otherwise, you'll need something to simulate wheelie and inclination of the bikes.
3. There are optional rules on the Net for weather and kind of tires, amongst others (it's a pity the game itself doesn't come with some of them).
4. Packaging. Seldom have I seen such a game box that adequately can hold all the game pieces in such a neatly manner.
5. Time of play. You can take longer or short lenghts of play, according to the number of laps you decide to do (the game recommends 6 laps always), the lenght of the track, the number of players/bikes, etc.
CONS:
Fantasy Flight does not make supplies for this game available. There's noe xtra bukes, track tiles or dash boards to buy separetely. As a matter of fact, they state that you should buy another box of the whole game if you wanna more bikes, extra track tiles ou dash boards. It's outrageous.

This game is a ton of fun. I played it with a mixed group of people ages 26-56. Other reviews have went over many times how the game is played. I'll focus on the benifits of playing it.
Four ladies/young women sitting around the table that all of a sudden are getting up acting like animals, saying funny things, acting out all manner of actions. (acting like a snake with sound picture that) We laughed until we cried. I don't know when I have laughed so hard. I laugh even to think how we looked to others. And the way it looks when it gets to 8 things in a row it can be really funny.
It is a great game for memory building and good belly laughs are proven to be good for the health, mind and body. The cards are well coated and very durable as is the board and game markers. I would say this game will withstand years of laughter giving fun.
As we were playing one of the women's husand came in the house and thought we had lost our minds, jumping around like monkeys, evil laughing, swimming and saying "gotcha", in a word it's a HOOT.
A word of warning...if you are over 50 you won't want to have a full bladder if you know what I mean. LOL

Who Lives Where Wooden Memory & Matching Game Review

Who Lives Where Wooden Memory and Matching Game
Average Reviews:

This is a cute memory game. The object is to put your animals in their respective homes in the order you lined up your animals by playing memory with their "homes". It is cute and my two year old enjoys the game. Except... the shapes and "homes" are not cut well therefore, the animals are hard to put in the homes. Even I had trouble getting them out for my two year old. I'm taking our game back to exchange it for a different memory game. I just don't have confidence that exchanging it for another of the same game will solve the issue. They are simply poorly manufactured pieces.

Put your memory and matching skills to the test in this fun and challenging game. Place wooden roofs over each empty animal house and then mix up the houses. Divide the 20 animal pieces among each player. On each turn, players remove a roof looking for the right home for their animals. If you guess right, place your animal inside the home. If you're wrong, put the roof back and it's someone else's turn. The first player to find homes for all of his animals wins.
A fun and easy way to teach memory, shape sorting, colors and animal recognition. Includes 10 wooden cut-out houses, 10 wooden roofs, 20 colored wooden animals, 1 wooden storage tray and instructions in English and Spanish.

Blue Orange Pengoloo Review

Blue Orange Pengoloo
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a very well-done memory game. There are twelve adorable wooden penguins with a hollow space to hide one of twelve brightly colored eggs (2 each of 6 colors). Players roll the dice to determine what color eggs they are looking for and then look under two penguins. If they get a match, they get to keep it; if both match, they get another turn; otherwise, it's the next player's turn. The first to get 6 eggs wins, or the one at the end with the most.
This game is very durable with all wooden pieces. This is a big plus to me with five children now, and hopefully more in the future. The penguin framework makes this game very enjoyable to my three older children (ages 7 1/2, 5 1/2, and 4). And of course, there's the educational value of a memory-building game.
I am very glad to have purchased this game and plan to buy it as a gift for my nieces and nephews. I'd highly recommed it for families with preschoolers and early elementary aged children.

This game is very cute. It takes no time at all to set up and learn the rules. The game is very durable and even the box is well constructed. We played with a three year old and two five year olds. All three of them caught onto the rules quickly and it didn't take long to complete a game. They giggled like crazy every time they were able to move their frogs. It's also a game that isn't mind-numbingly boring for an adult to play. I purchased a set for my daughter and then got another set for my niece and nephew. It's one of the better games I've purchased for my kids.
