Little Tikes Deluxe Cozy Convertible Car Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My son has loved this toy since we got it for his first birthday (he's now 16 months). We live in NYC so we are constantly walking around and this is a fun alternative to a stroller. People are always smiling at my son as he steers and plays with the buttons - I've been stopped many times by people asking where we got it and was it expensive - which I think it was not.
But as I said - it definitely has limitations - the lack of a seat belt being the biggest. The first time my son rode in it he tried to stand up as I was pushing it, and I thought I was going to have to return it. But after a little engineering I rigged an old (and very long) buckle strap around the pole used to push it and under the convertible top and it works pretty well. My only other complaint is that the hard plastic wheels are SO LOUD on the city sidewalks - people definitely hear us coming. It would definitely be an even better toy if they changed the wheels to rubber. But regarding the seat belt, I think it would really be in Little Tikes best interest to change the model and add one.

Plus, a removable floorboard and adjustable four-position handle allow this sporty convertible to grow along with the child from toddler to preschool.

WordWorld Fruit Basket Word Modeling Dough with WordMolds Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I actually purchased this product at Tuesday Morning for my 3 year old son. I agree with the other reviewer that it's very hard to initially open the packaging - but other than that I'm very pleased. The play dough has a great consistancy and is easy to shape and play with. I found the smell much better than regular molding clay - but not overpowering. No problem with any of my 3 kids trying to eat it!! The word shapes are a lot of fun. I would buy this again without a doubt.

WOW Danny's Diving Adventure Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The boat takes on water very easily and doesn't really stay afloat when my one year old is playing with it. He enjoys putting the small people in his mouth the most. I worried that they may pose a choking hazard but I keep a close eye on him and after a couple months, this has never been an issue.

Fisher-Price World of Little People Learn About Town Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like this toy because my two-year-old twins can play with it at the same time without arguing. We got it last week, and it's still the main draw in the playroom. It comes with a boy and a girl doll, and a 4-part town for them to explore: a school, the dentist and doctor, the pet store and a pizza shop, and a swing under an apple tree.
A voice counts out loud as you push apples into the tree, and my son loves this best. My daughter likes to put the dolls in the pizza shop, and put the pizzas in the oven. They love pushing anything that results in a song, voice or sound, and there's lots of that here. I'm not sure this toy would hold the attention of 5-year-olds, but I think it's perfect for 2-3 year olds.

In this tiny town, kids learn all sorts of lessons through interactive play. Little ones learn ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes and more in a unique format that unfolds for all-around playset play. Start at the doctor and dentist offices with a weight scale and dentist chair. Then grab a snack at the shape-sorting pizza shop with four different shaped pizza disks and a shape identifier. Stop and see the animals at the sort-and-match pet shop with an interactive cash register. At the ABC school, kids learn the full alphabet and practice writing letters on the magnetic drawing board. Push on the tower to hear the entire ABC song. At the numbers treehouse, drop the 10 apple disks through the tree and the playset counts along; then press the lever to release them into the bushel. There's also an open/close door and swing for Little People figures. And at the interactive traffic signal, push down for a learning tune. Fun tunes and sound effects along the way highlight learning in each location. Includes two articulated Little People figures, table, two chairs, easel, tricycle, 10 "apple" disks and four pizza disks. Folds closed for storage with handle. Measures 44"L x 12"W x 15"H. Requires three "AA" batteries, included.

CRANIUM Puppy Pals Bingo Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We got this for my soon to be three year old. To say that he loves it is an understatement. It is intended for two players but we have played with more. Even my almost four year old can play it with her almost three year old brother by themselves.
The games pieces are very sturdy.
The dogs kennels each have a pattern, a shape, and a color and this is what you are trying to match. There are cards that you turn over and then you try to find the match on your card (3 x 3 squares). if you have the match you put one of the little dog tokens on your card and they are made to fit in to the hole so that they don't slide off or can be accidentally knocked off. If you get three in a row (this is the only part I have to teach him) you get your puppy and put him in the kennel at the top and shout "Woof woof". This has been a great first game. When you turn the card over and say have you got...a heart? He shouts it "I do, I do". I have already decided to purchase this as a birthday present for two cousins and a friend.

TONKA GARAGE JC Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The game info includes XP compatible, but not for the all the games. When you go to test the vehicle that you fixed up, the screen goes black and all you can see is your vehicle. There are a few other areas that don't work all the way. My five-year old loves the game, but is very frustrated that he can't do everything. There is no technical support from anyone as the game is too old.

Kids On the Go Art Lap Desk Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 4 year old broke his arm just below the shoulder and had to have his entire arm wrapped to his chest for over a month. I got him this for preschool to hold his papers still so he could still color and write. The elastic corners were perfect and it worked great so he could still do things one-handed. It is also light weight so it doesn't weigh down his back pack.

Magnetic Wipe-off Board-Large-30inx23in Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This board was much more flimsy than I expected. I've purchased plain wipe-off boards in the past and they were always very sturdy and solid, and I had expected that of this board too. It tends to bend a little too easily and doesn't hang as flat against the wall as I would have liked. But, the magnets stick to it well, and it was the best price for the size out of the boards I looked at.

(More customer reviews)This is a simple deck of cards with pictures of characters from Blue's Clues. Each card has an action for the kids to perform. You can play a few different games with the cards.
The cards are big, so its easy for little hands to hold. The cards are a bit too easy to bend. My daughter (who is almost 3 years old )likes to play memory with the cards, and its easy because each card has many duplicates. This is a cute game for Blue's Clues fans.

Little Tikes Double Easel Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 3 year old daughter received her Little Tikes Easel from her Grandmother as a birthday present. My daughter loves it. We purchased colored chalk and more paper and she couldn't have been happier. I found the assembly to be a snap. It took about 15 minutes to assemble. I am very pleased with how easy the clean up is. The trays are easy to remove and transport to the sink to wash out paint. My daughter has many Little Tikes products and they have never failed to live up to our high expectations.

Small World Express Dashboard Adventures Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Purchased this toy for a 17-month-old boy. He enjoys playing with all of the features - the horn beeps and the gear shift moves (and the engine revs accordingly for drive or neutral - it even beeps for reverse) - the blinkers work from a stick attached to the steering column just like a real car. The buttons on the bottom make the proper siren noises of the vehicles they represent. You turn it on by turning the key. You can adjust the rear view mirror. The little car moves along the street in the picture window. (Incidentally, the nurse is the only little person that the car can run over. :)) The music the pretend radio plays is nice and the sound effects on the telephone are cute - neither are at all annoying. I would complain only about two things with this toy - first, that it is a bit loud - and there is no volume control (contrast - the telephone is a little too quiet) - and once you put the gear shift in forward drive, you can't turn off the windshield wipers. I would have found that to be a cool feature. We play with this toy very often, but not for long periods of time, as the little guy says it's too loud after a little while. I think it's still better than the competitor products and I would probably buy it again anyway. I just really wish you could turn down the volume a bit.

Little Tikes Endless Adventures Easystore Jr. Play Slide Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)After a few trips to the park, my 18mo/old started going around all day saying "slide". We don't have the room in our backyard for a playset, so we settled on this one. I don't think she has left the thing alone for 5 min since we got it. The bottom of the slide spits the child out only about 2 inches off the ground. However, after much sliding over carpet, my child started holding her little rear. So, we put an exercise mat at the bottom to cushion the end of the ride, and she loves it!!! It does fold, but not too easily, however, I have not had the chance to put it up :-)

When this slide is open, toddlers will play and slide all day. When it's closed, it folds down without tools for compact storage and moving away. Take it on trips, to the campground, or even use it indoors when the sun isn't shining. And the "Backyard Naturals" colors are fun for kids, yet blend in well with the backyard setting. Measures 23"H x 18"W x 39"D.

Harold and the Purple Crayon Game Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This game is a hit with my 11 yr. old son, who has moderate to high-functioning autism, and also with his 4 yr. old sister. My son needs to work on his language skills, and likes to draw, so it is therapy that he likes! His sister also loves the game, and has no trouble remembering the story line as each person adds to the drawing/story board. The game/story is different each time, so it's interesting to me to play along with them. The cards with the drawings help children to expand their topics, which is an issue with most autistic kids. The gameboard wipes off better if you use a paper towel as recommended, then wipe off with a damp paper towel.
