(More customer reviews)I originally purchased the wire puzzle rack by Melissa and Doug only to discover it didn't work for my toddler's peg puzzles. Then I found this racks. It is perfect!!! We love this puzzle rack for the following reasons.
1. It is one of the only racks on the market that will hold peg puzzles with the small pegs.
2. It hold twelve puzzle - more than your toddler will ever need.
3. It also works for traditional wood puzzles so as your child switches from one type to puzzle to another, your puzzle rack doesn't become obsolete.
4. It is sturdy and holds up to daily use by my active (and rough) toddler boy.
5. It is easy for toddler to remove and replace puzzles on his or her own. Especially nice if your toddler is in the "me do" stage of life.

I've purchased plain wipe-off boards in the past and they were always very sturdy and solid, and I had expected that of this board too. It tends to bend a little too easily and doesn't hang as flat against the wall as I would have liked. But, the magnets stick to it well, and it was the best price for the size out of the boards I looked at.

It currently sits on a small play table and when our toddler paints we move it to our dining room table so she has more space. When the paints are not in use, our 3 yr uses it to draw/story-tell. Even our 1 yr old likes to cruise by and make marks with the crayons/chalk. It is very nice quality and easy to put together. Since this easel is easy to assemble/disassemble, you need to re-tighten the side knobs occasionally. I like that if we want to store away, it won't take up a ton of space. It would make a great toddler gift.

(More customer reviews)The only problem I had this item was the instant I took it out of its plastic wrap and opened it up, the chalkboard fell out of its hinges on the top. A little bit of extra strength super glue fixed it and am hoping the dry erase side doesn't fall out later. Otherwise my 2.5yr old loves writing with the chalk and putting magnetic letters on the other side. Great investment - even if I have chalk dust all over my floor.

They fold down to flat boxes and though somewhat tedious to put together, they wind up extremely sturdy and toddler-damage resistant! Colorful and all-around in keeping with the brand's great products. ****Note that most of the boxes are the tiny size, some are medium, but only 4 are large shoe-box size. If ability to build a big structure is what you are after, you definitely need their bigger set.

I imagine she'll like them when she's older too as she can't put all of them back together yet. They vary in how they go back together--some are just a basic "cut" in half, others have leaves on them and then smaller parts, and the pineapple (that would be in the fruit set, we have that too) even has a "core."

However, the shoe was not exactly what I was expecting. I assumed, since the product description mentioned "teaches your child", that there would be some sort of accompanying pamphlet, containing tips/tricks for the child. There is just the shoe and that's it. So I would consider this to be just a "practice shoe", nothing more. Had I known this before, I would not have purchased this item, since my son can use any old shoe in our house to practice on.

(More customer reviews)This was a gift from Grandma for our 18 month old. Our daughter figured out how to cut a few months later. It's perfect for age two and up. She loves to cut up all the fruits, veggies, and bread. It comes with two cutting boards and two knives so a friend can play along too. It keeps her entertained for a long time and, as others have mentioned, teaches her the names of a few fruits and veggies along the way. Everything comes in a nice wooden box with a slide-on lid, which is great for storing all the pieces and for the fun of "in and out" of the box. My only complaint is that the velcro stickers which hold the pieces together are not compeletly durable. I've reglued a few of them, which has been no big deal to do. Overall a great toy, well priced, and nicely made.

(More customer reviews)This product is good quality and works for what it is supposed to do. It is in fact magnetic, it is sturdy and my daughter (19 months) loves it. She can carry it by the rope; which I agree is strangely designed to take up space on the board, a top mounted rope would be just as good, if not better. However, the board is not double sided, which would have been nice. It is about the same size as a standard 'college' marker board and in my opinion, if you can get a magnetic 'college' marker/message board for half the price, why would you spend this money? A good product, but if I were doing it again, I would get a less expensive board. The other educational insights products make a great addition to this board.
