WordWorld Fruit Basket Word Modeling Dough with WordMolds Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I actually purchased this product at Tuesday Morning for my 3 year old son. I agree with the other reviewer that it's very hard to initially open the packaging - but other than that I'm very pleased. The play dough has a great consistancy and is easy to shape and play with. I found the smell much better than regular molding clay - but not overpowering. No problem with any of my 3 kids trying to eat it!! The word shapes are a lot of fun. I would buy this again without a doubt.

Melissa & Doug Deluxe Magnetic Letters & Numbers in a Box Bundle Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like this set because you get numbers and letters for a reasonable price considering the quality which is quite good...I would definitely choose these sets over the cheap plastic ones because the backs are a complete magnet which makes them hold on without drifting down...The colors are satisfactory, except the blue on the numbers is more like a purple...You may want to refrain from giving these to a child who is still put things in their mouth because the paper fronts will dissolve and come off...
Color notes...
The letter coloring scheme is simply an alternation of red, yellow, blue, and green.
The numbers coloring scheme seems like green/yellow are odds & red/blue are evens:
0 = 2(red) 1(blue)
1 = 2(red) 3(blue) 3(green) 3(yellow)
2 = 2(red) 1(blue)
3 = 1(green) 1(yellow)
4 = 1(red) 1(blue)
5 = 1(green) 1(yellow)
6 = 1(red) 1(blue)
7 = 1(green) 1(yellow)
8 = 1(red) 1(blue)
9 = 1(green) 1(yellow)

Shure - Wooden Alphabet Flash Cards Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I ordered these for my 17 month old daughter, who was starting to display an interest in learning her alphabet and we both had gasps of delight in opening them. They are GORGEOUS in person and made of a really nice, lightweight, but durable material. I love how it includes both upper case, lower case, and a picture of a word starting with each letter. Only complaint, maybe a better case for the cards themselves, the case it comes in is a little clumsy.

Twisterz Toys Word Builder Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Purchased this for a 5 year old who is beginning to read and spell...great item, especially for kids with some imagination/creativity...child (with some initial help) quickly realized that if you simply start with a consonant and then a vowel, suddenly lots of three and four letter words start appearing...child enjoyed rearranging rings to spell lots of different words.

Megcos Toy Magnetic Shapes, Letters, Numbers,& Board -Affordable Gift for your Little One Item #LMID-1137 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I should have called and enquired about this product. Basically I was looking for something that has upper case, lower case letters and numbers together. Going by the no of pieces I thought it includes all of them. The description is not clear and I am disappointed as I was specifically looking for lower case letters. However I think this is a good one in terms of education, storage (everything gets stored in that little box) and is sturdy enough.

Can Do Roo Anything Roo Can Do, You Can Do Too Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)So the problem with this toy, for my son, was that the product indicated it was for 4 years and older, but it really seemed more appropriate for a 2 year old, except that the pieces are probably too small for a little toddler. The point is if the child already knows shapes and colors, etc. then it's just very boring. Just my son's experience.

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We love Lauri puzzles and this one is no exception. My son is 4 and autistic and has known his uppercase letters for awhile now. This puzzle is teaching him about lowercase as well. Also good for fine motor. The only slight downside is that there are some very small pieces to keep track of.

Megcos Magnetic Capital Letters (Set Of 36Pc) -Affordable Gift for your Little One Item #LMID-1096 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought these for my 2 year old. As soon as I opened the package I realized they were a choking hazard. They're way to small for a toddler. I wouldn't even feel comfortable giving them to my 5 year old. I wish the dimensions had been included in the advertisement.

Learn To Write Board Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a great little board for kids to practice their letters. The board is thin which is nice because it is very light-weight and good for the car, take to restaurants, etc. However, it is durable and I can't imagine it bending too easily (even during shipping). I imagine the dry erase marker will need to be replaced as they all tend to dry out over time. Great purchase.

Melissa & Doug Magnetic Wooden Alphabet Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is one of the greatest toys I've ever seen. The letters are made of wood and the front is painted with a smooth, bright, shiny enamel. The best part is that the entire back of the letter is magnetic, not just a little piece like those cheap plastic magnetic letters. These will not fall off and they are plenty strong enough to hold artwork up on the fridge. The come in a durable wooden box with a clear plastic top that slides on and off. They are much bigger than the plastic alphabet magnets so they are easier for little kids to handle without choking. There are both upper and lowercase so there are plenty of letters to make words. My daughter loves playing with them on the fridge and dishwasher. We even gave a set to her 1 year old cousin as a birthday present. I would recommend them to anyone. Believe me, they are well worth the price and your kids will be able to hand them down to their children.

Pressman Spelling Bee Bingo Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 2 1/2 year old son was enjoying playing this game with his older cousins. I've been teaching him his alphabet and it really showed me how many letters he really did know. The 4 year old cousin enjoyed a spelling and letter recognitation also. The 7 year old cousin enjoyed the spelling and playing with his cousin and brother.
The game has small pieces so I'd make sure your child is not putting anything in his mouth any longer and if you have other little child that the pieces be kept out of reach.

Educational Insights Pupil Magnetic Board-14inx11in Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This product is good quality and works for what it is supposed to do. It is in fact magnetic, it is sturdy and my daughter (19 months) loves it. She can carry it by the rope; which I agree is strangely designed to take up space on the board, a top mounted rope would be just as good, if not better. However, the board is not double sided, which would have been nice. It is about the same size as a standard 'college' marker board and in my opinion, if you can get a magnetic 'college' marker/message board for half the price, why would you spend this money? A good product, but if I were doing it again, I would get a less expensive board. The other educational insights products make a great addition to this board.
