Fisher Price Loving Family Laundry Room Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like the functionality and housework aspect of this room an dmy daughter has taken to pretending to do the laundry for the figures in the house. Though that said it is more of an apartment or European laundry than an American one. A house as big as The Loving Family's would have a proper side-by-side and not over-under washer and dryer. But it is very cute and I appreciate the idea.

Fisher-Price World of Little People Learn About Town Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like this toy because my two-year-old twins can play with it at the same time without arguing. We got it last week, and it's still the main draw in the playroom. It comes with a boy and a girl doll, and a 4-part town for them to explore: a school, the dentist and doctor, the pet store and a pizza shop, and a swing under an apple tree.
A voice counts out loud as you push apples into the tree, and my son loves this best. My daughter likes to put the dolls in the pizza shop, and put the pizzas in the oven. They love pushing anything that results in a song, voice or sound, and there's lots of that here. I'm not sure this toy would hold the attention of 5-year-olds, but I think it's perfect for 2-3 year olds.

In this tiny town, kids learn all sorts of lessons through interactive play. Little ones learn ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes and more in a unique format that unfolds for all-around playset play. Start at the doctor and dentist offices with a weight scale and dentist chair. Then grab a snack at the shape-sorting pizza shop with four different shaped pizza disks and a shape identifier. Stop and see the animals at the sort-and-match pet shop with an interactive cash register. At the ABC school, kids learn the full alphabet and practice writing letters on the magnetic drawing board. Push on the tower to hear the entire ABC song. At the numbers treehouse, drop the 10 apple disks through the tree and the playset counts along; then press the lever to release them into the bushel. There's also an open/close door and swing for Little People figures. And at the interactive traffic signal, push down for a learning tune. Fun tunes and sound effects along the way highlight learning in each location. Includes two articulated Little People figures, table, two chairs, easel, tricycle, 10 "apple" disks and four pizza disks. Folds closed for storage with handle. Measures 44"L x 12"W x 15"H. Requires three "AA" batteries, included.

Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This easel is a great buy! Very sturdy and high quality as most of mellisa and doug products. Colorful, kid friendly and easy to put together. Both the writing boards and the trays are adjustable for the height of your child. It folds up easy, but stands strong. This easel DOES have a place for a paper roll!! I did not think it did by the amazon description (I almost bought a more expensive one for the paper roll but decided to go with this and am so glad I did) ... the roll goes in the center between the boards and the paper comes up through the top and under a paper guide in front of the dry erase side. I can't image why you would spend more on another brand of easel, this one has everything I could think of wanting and is simple, solid wood, looks good and is super functional. This is the first review I have written, but wanted to pass on how happy I am with this product.

Cardinal Industries Mexican Train Domino Game in an Aluminum Case Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)A little disapointed, the original Mexican train set in the aluminum case had the nice 3/8" thick dominoes that stood on edge well (important part of playing the game) this one has everything else the same but comes with the thin 1/4" dominoes that can fall over easy. My fault for not asking and assuming it was original(there was no size spec. in the add) but still a little ??? on there part.

Pressman Giant Garden Chess Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This chess set is wonderful, it has inspired at least two children who have been to our home to learn how to play chess.
My own children love playing with this set. In addition to playing chess, sometimes they recreate the Fritz and Chesster games they've played and printed from the computer, sometimes they make up puzzles for each other "Move one piece and put my king into check", sometimes they haul the chess pieces around the house to do double duty for some other imaginative play venture.
I do wish there was some way to weight the pieces, they are hollow plastic with felt bottoms. I've debated opening them up to put sand inside of them, but haven't done so yet. Anyway, I'm not sure how this game would hold up outside on a windy day, but regardless, we have been very pleased with this chess set.

DMI Bristle Dartboard in Game Room Cabinet Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this dartboard for my boyfriend for Christmas. He said its the best Christmas present hes ever gotten and absolutely LOVES it! The dart board itself is high end professional quality and the cabinet looks great and was not difficult to mount at all. So far he has had several great comments on it.It was the perfect addition to his game room, I would definitely recommend.

Turn your garage, den, or basement into party central without sacrificing your design aesthetic with this attractive bristle dart board set. The board, which comes housed in a solid dark cherry cabinet, is made of a high-grade, "self-healing" sisal that looks smooth and lasts for years. Scoring is handled by the dual scorers--a traditional chalkboard scorer on the inside of the left door and a more modern electronic scorer on the right. And below the board sits a shelf that holds up to six darts (included), so you needn't worry about misplacing the darts between games. It's the cherry wood cabinet that really stands out, however, thanks to its durable finger-joint frame construction and dark cherry finish.
The cabinet not only hides your board from view when you're not playing and protects your wall from errant darts when you are, but also looks great amidst both traditional and modern furnishings. The cabinet, which measures 18.5 by 20 by 2.5 inches (W x H x D) when closed, is covered by a one-year warranty against defects.
