(More customer reviews)I've had this board for a couple years and while it's preformed OK I never really new the issues with it until I played a better one. 1st off there's staples everywhere and still the grid pulls out so I'm constantly pushing it back in. Also the grid itself isn't lined up right and moves too easily where the dividers come into the bull. Next let's talk about bounce outs, on this board I get a ton. For a while I thought it was just the way I threw or something but I played other boards and have not the same issue. While I know all that I've listed is negative in my opinion, when speaking about a dart board, there's only so much you can talk about, and I will say for the casual player this board would do just fine, why go blow extra loot on a pro board if you only use it once in a while right? As for me I tried the upgraded Nordor boards along with other manufacturers and I have to say out off all of them I Find the Winmau Blade 3 to be the top. No matter what board you choose though do yourself a favor and buy it here, compared to other retailers , even the eBay auctions, Amazons prices with shipping blow all the others away.

Halex 64750 Tournament Bristle Dartboard Review

(More customer reviews)bought this dart board about a week ago, and its pretty much what i expected for the price. first, the darts that come with it are pretty low quality. i broke 4 of the 6 plastic shafts the first night i played with them. after about a week of heavy use on the board (3-4 hours a night) the spider (metal wiring) is very heavily bent making the board pretty much unplayable. seems like it would be okay for lighter use, but if you are buying it for more then just light use, you might want to invest in a higher quality board to get your moneys worth.

Dart Ball Replacement Balls Review

(More customer reviews)I was ordering the Safety Target Dart Board and the replacement ball set was shown as an item as something that customers also bought. I thought it made sense to have an extra set on-hand.
Well, the velcro balls that are included with the Dart Board are the size of ping pong balls, and the Replacement Balls are the size of tennis balls!
What's wrong with this picture? I gave it as a gift and was a little embarrassed when the gift was opened because it was clearly not meant to go together.
I'm sure they can be used in some capacity, but not with the Safety Target Dart Board.

Arachnid Interactive 3000 Soft-Tip Dart Game Review

(More customer reviews)Someone thought the heckler was a good idea. Likely several someones... it makes me wonder what the product development cycle looked like. What were you thinking, guys?? Thankfully, you CAN turn off the heckler. Trust me, you'll want to.
The board keeps score very well. It's great for 301/501 for those of us who have trouble with the instant math required. With the heckler turned off, the game calls out each hit in a cheerful voice. Much better! It's been flawless in it's accuracy in detecting hits correctly. Has "Bounce Out" feature to reverse out a dart hit that subsequently falls out or bounces out.
The board is easy enough to set up, but keep the manual safe, because the variants are not easily discernable without it.
It's been said elsewhere, and bears repeating: Do no bother to even assemble the set of darts that come in the box. Pitch them in the trash. They're unstable in flight. They're also too light, weighing in at 9 grams each and feel like you're throwing nothing. Without sufficient weight they don't stick well and are constantly bouncing out. Real darts weigh generally no less than 16 grams, and preferably 18 grams. Big difference.
Get a set or two of real darts. Brands like Laser, Bottelsen, Harrows, Dart World... Anything that's 80% or 90% Tungsten generally is a real step up. Tungsten darts are slimmer than brass for the equivalent weight, meaning in tight groups you don't have your prior dart crowding your next incoming dart out. Stay away from the cute "bumble bee" buzz bomb/torpedo style brass darts for that reason. And Tungsten darts have no lead content to worry about.
Another reviewer mentioned flights coming off. Yes, flights come off even the best of darts. They're supposed to do that if 2 darts come in close together, the incomming dart would cut/smash it's or the other dart's flights if they didn't. BUT... you can get spinner shafts like TopSpin that will help with that problem, allowing the flights of each dart to rotate out of the way of each other. If it keeps happening for no reason, suspect your shafts are the problem and not the dart itself. You can get different shafts for like $5 per set.

I've played about every other day for a month now and the "self-healing" properties of the African sisal really work! There are very few visible holes, and even those go away if you throw a dart next to them. This seems like it could last forever. I've experienced a few bounce outs...maybe 1 in 100 or more throws. For the price, you can't beat it. For other beginner's reference, I bought two sets of Nodor 90% tungsten darts for $30/set and am glad I didn't buy less dense (cheaper) darts.

Arachnid Cricket Pro 650 Soft-Tip Dart Game Review

(More customer reviews)Bought this board with a cabinet. This is one great dartboard. 99% of the soft-tip darts stick in the board no problem - if they don't, you usually missed the dartboard. The games included are enough for most players. My wife and I have played on this board numerous times since we bought it, and she's become a master. I'm still trying to catch up to her skill level.
My only complaint is that the LED's for the 3 statuses for Cricket are sometimes confusing. Green and Yellow can look somewhat similar 8 feet away from the dartboard. I would have liked to have the X and O like the Arachnid 800, but this is probably the best bang for the buck dartboard out there if you want high quality (not kiddie), and enough features for everyone but the most die-hard professional.
PS - the darts can be somewhat difficult to remove from the dartboard, as my wife has experienced. If you get the right type of darts (shorter tips & fatter bodies. . .I think the 1/4" are better), it becomes easier to remove.

When your darts are pulled from the board some type of dust seems to come out with them and can make a bit of a mess inside your case. The outer ring (with the numbers) tends to come loose and has to be re-adjusted much more often then it should be. Other then that, the board performs as expected, and as I said with very few bounceouts.
