It's easy - it's not like in other board games, when you have to collect resources or money or anything else, there is no dicing and waiting for your number, there is no competing in the way of making a game tough to other players. It's nothing like that - it's just different! No nervousness or worries, no fighting for anything during a game. Lots of laugh, just a great fun. Rules are incredibly simple. There is no hard strategy issues or a brain storm, but the game is not stupid at all. Each round is different, no repeats! You just use your imagination to play it, be creative!
And the game is just beautiful also. It has 84 unique colorful picture cards with interesting artworks - pretty big, solid and nice looking, very pleasant to handle.
I am sure you will like it. During the game you will talk a lot to your friends, and laugh a lot together.
To the end of the first night we played it, it became obvious that we want more of that cards. And after a while of looking, I figured out that there is one extension to the game with additional cards, just called Dixit 2. I ordered it also - and it matches the spirit of the game totally. Excellent extension!
So I highly recommend this game for everyone - all ages and genders, and I recommend ordering two at once - Dixit and Dixit 2, mix them and play.

DixitEach player at his turn plays the storyteller. He is given a single picture, while the otherplayers get a hand of six pictures.The storyteller says a sentence or a word connected to his picture, then each player chooses one of his pictures to bet upon. All pictures are showed face up, and every player have to bet upon what picture was the storyteller's.
