Played this when visiting my son and his wife.Cards ask questions anyone can answer. No embarrassment like in Trivia Pursuit when you just don't know the answer. Here you try to match other player's anwers - some amaze you and most are quite funny. Plan to buy this game myself!

All you need is some drinks while you play this awesome game. The completely random antics require that you let yourself go a little bit, but what's the fun if you don't have to do that? This game brings out the creativity in all the players and by the end of the night you find yourself pleasantly buzzed and sore from laughter. I highly recommend this game.

I originally bought this game to use the questions during therapy sessions. However, I first played it with my family and we had a blast. The questions allowed us to get to know interesting facts about each other while engaging in rather clever banter. It was difficult to determine who responded when three of my sisters responded to the question in the same way. We did need to sensor some of the cards due to young children being in the room (not to mention our parents!) The game was timely and hillarious. Buy it, you'll have fun.

Hummble Game Review

Hummble Game
Average Reviews:

I've had this game for about 8 years and am still bringing it to every party and every retreat I go to. It's hysterical to see how our really good singers (I'm in a Choir and other musical groups) can't get their tune recognized but our self-proclaimed tin ears somehow manage to. I hope they come out with some new cards soon though, I've been through mine now, and the "Contemporary" music category is a bit out-dated! Still, its a great, fun, party game.

You don't have to be Mozart to win this musical game! All you need is a love for music and the memories of your favorite songs. This party game is played in teams, like charades. The music categories are Broadway musicals, Folk & Family Favorites, Oldies, T.V. & Movies and Contemporary. I purchased this game for my husband last Christmas and it quickly became our favorite. My daughters (ages 8 & 5) love learning more about our family history and guessing each other's favorites. The scavenger hunts and charades are also lots of fun. I would highly recommend this game to any family. It's also great to take to holiday get-togethers and play with extended family members. It really gets the "chatter" going and brings back some great memories.

Odds R Board Game Review

Odds R Board Game
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased OddsR as a gift for my wife this past December. We first played it with family and friends on New Years Day. The age range of those playing was 13 to the late 50's, including older teens in college, thus a disparate age group was represented. After setting up and explaining the rules, we broke up into teams and proceeded with play.
The play was fast enough to keep up interest yet paced so that one could enjoy and even savor each round, especially if successful. The questions were both thought provoking and quite amusing at the same time. Well thought out and difficult enough to challenge the most fastidious of minds yet not beyond the comprehension of the younger players. Thus, a game conducive to
family as well as adult only play. Unusual in board games.
When the game was completed, all involved breathed a sigh of satisfaction and spoke in reverence of the game and in anticipation of the next time we could play. My college age son took the game back to college with him and played several times with his roommates (all quite intelligent). I was informed that they loved the game and the challenge and amusement it
provided and looked forward to playing it when time allowed. The betting as well as the intellectual aspect of OddsR seemed to appeal to their sense of gaming as well as "battle of the wits".
The author of the game was obviously an irreverent sort, yet bordering on genius in the manner he concocted the game theme and play. I think this game will go down as one of the classics in Board games for years to come. Highly recommended!

This is a multiple-choice trivia game with a wagering system that allows all players to bet on the expected answer before it's given. A lottery, fed by initial seeding and all lost wagers, provides the other principal source of income in the game. There are also some random benefits and penalties associated with each square landed on. The board contains three tiers, with minimum bets and random payouts increasing as each new level is reached.

This game has a lot of random facts taken from official golf rules which make it interesting, but the setup is confusing at first. You'll need to have a big clear space in your house to play it (or I guess it could be played outside in the summer). It is better with more than just two people.

Finally someone made Booray. I've heard about this game on the radio. Supposedly some pro athletes play it in the locker rooms and it's supposed to be like hearts or rummy but I couldn't find it in the store until now. I got my copy and I couldn't stop playing it. It's a little like the game of Guts - if you're into poker, you know Guts. I was not aware of the Louisiana roots of this game but apparently it's a Cajun game. We love it. Lots of fun, trick taking, Trump cards, easy to learn...cool!

Why Did the Chicken...? Review

Why Did the Chicken...
Average Reviews:

I own a lot of games - party, strategy, 2-player, etc...
This is one of the most requested games I own.
Pros:
* It's a blast with the right group*
* It's cheap, so even if you don't love it, it won't break the bank
* Did I mention it's a blast to play?
Con:
* If you have very quiet friends, this probably won't go over too well. Come to think of it though, if you have a lot of quiet friends, most "party games" won't go over too well...
Of note: Wits & Wagers is my groups other hotly requested game. I believe Amazon was running a package deal on this, W&W and another game. Can't go wrong with these!

Each round, you'll have two minutes to create funny answers for a randomly generated riddle. But know your audience: One player will be judging answers instead of writing them! The judge's choices for the two best answers earn points. When the game's over, tally up your points to see who's the life of the party.

This Vs That Game Review

This Vs That Game

I first saw this game in a local coffee shop, but buy it here, it's a better price. The main object is to come up with 5 things related to one of two categories that the electronic centerpiece randomly comes up with. For example; things that are hot vs things that are cold. Each team of comes up with the answers (so there are not any "right" answers, because any answer could be right). Seems easy enough, but then you swap lists with the other team. Then you have give clues in order to come up with the answers within a certain amount of time. The electronic unit also has two timers with lights and sounds, just like a TV game show. A fun and competitive game.

Two teams brainstorm and match wits in the fun game of contrasting thoughts and contrasting strategies. I hadn't played a board game in 10 years. I was a bit dubious about my trivia skills but was willing to give it a try when friends brought the game over. Instructions were clear and took mere minutes to comprehend. Once you start playing the game, no problem. The premise of the game is that you have a finite number of seconds to identify 10 of something: 10 most popular dog breeds, 10 highest paid basketball players, 10 things you'd find at the beach. You get rewarded for the items you've identified and written down on your list and extra points for those items you've identified that no one else had. The game comes with a timer, pad of paper for listing your Top 10 items, pencils, game board and game players. BYOB. It took about an hour for 4 adults to play the game. (Guess who won?!)
