Marvel Heroes Chess Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This an ok chess set but not worth 29.99.
Like the lord of the rings chess set it's really more of a toy or furniture. Its poorly painted and really the choice of characters makes little sense. If you love super heroes this is the chess set for you. If you're a serious chess player this may not be for you.

LEGO Sports Gravity Games: Skateboard Vert Park Challenge Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Not only is easy to put together, which my finger pads appreciate, but there are a ton of different things that you can do with this set. We bought this for my 7 year old during a 4 day cabin vacation, and he literally played with it the entire time.

Medieval Times III Theme Chessmen Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Bought these chess pieces for my boyfriend for Christmas and he just loved them. If you're going to play chess, you have to have a medieval chess set. The only thing that keeps happening is that they get knocked over easily so I think the bases should be heavier. The workmanship is great but from behind, you can get the bishops mixed up with the pawns so I took a permanent marker and painted the back of the bishops head (helmet) black and it didn't take away from the painting that already exists. This was the perfect gift this year!

Walt Disney's Theme Park Characters Collectible Figures (Disney Theme Park Exclusive) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This was probably our 3 year old daughter's favorite holiday gift. She is obsessed with Disney rides and loves to watch all the videos on youtube. She also has a thing for Figment, the purple dragon - who doesn't really have any merchandise these days. The skeleton ghost from Haunted Mansion and the Yeti are also big hits. Nothing has broken yet but I've banned them from the bathtub since i think water would probably leak into some of the seams.

The Muppet Show Deluxe Collector's Chess Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)OK, let's be honest. We're dealing with a chess set here. There is very little that you can do to mess it up. Some sets are fancier, but that's not what the manufacturers were going for here. Those of us who grew up with Sesame Street and the Muppets will love the nostalgic fun of playing chess with our favorite characters as the pieces. Of course, purists may scoff, but that's them taking themselves a bit too seriously. The only possible difficulty for some people might be remembering which character is what. Is the Swedish Chef a bishop or a rook? But that just means learning one or two associations (the knights are on horses, so no problem there), and you could say the same for sets costing hundreds of dollars (e.g., is Legalos a bishop or knight in the Lord of the Rings sets?).

Dragon And Knight Medieval Chess Board Game Set Decor Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This chess set was all that I expected and more, what's more important is that my boyfriend that collects Dragons totally went bonkers over it when he seen it. I purchased this for his 40th birthday, and he has played it every night since he got it. I was pleasantly pleased with the detail work on this piece. Just wish the board and pieces were a little larger but other than that it is and was an awesome birthday gift, and well worth the money.

Playmobil Skate Park With Half Pipe Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We're pretty disappointed in this set, compared to other playmobil sets we own. The skaters are so top-heavy, and the wheels have a lot of friction, so the skaters just fall down if you try and slide the half-pipe. Also, the skaters are hard to get on the skateboards. I'd recommend a different set that's a little more versatile and fun to play with.

Giant Indoor Outdoor Chess Set 16 Inch Kings Big Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Wow! I purchased this set so that my young children could learn about chess in a fun way. The pieces are GREAT for toddlers and preschoolers to handle and "become" the game of chess. My children learned quickly the names of each piece and how the move along the board.
They are great (no small pieces for the mouth) for learning and interacting with chess and take it from "boring" to exciting. I would invest again in this set, as I see it can continue to be fun as my children get older. The larger than life pieces help make the game come alive for me as well.

Star Wars: Power of the Force > Escape the Death Star Action Figure Game Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I remember buying this when it came out in 1998 just to get my hands on the 2 exclusive Star Wars action figures, the same size as the other Kenner figures. It was a Han Solo in the Stormtrooper suit from the trash compactor, and Darth Vader with removable dome helmet. They both came with light sabers. As it turned out the game was fun after all, and kept us busy that summer.

Battery Powered Horse Race Derby Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had this game as a kid only the horses were made of metal and these are plastic. Overall the game still works the same unfortunately mine has a lane that is much slower than the other 5. It's a fun game to play with. I find many of my friends playing randomly when they come over.
