(More customer reviews)I purchased this set thinking it was going to be 1 full piece of leather that was wrapped around the playing board. That is not what I got. The leather is a patch work of leather pieces, with some visible and ugly stitching. Leather or not, I didn't feel this was worth spending $100 on.

(More customer reviews)I first saw this when one of my first-graders brought it in to school. I *love* Hello Kitty and thought it was very neat since it has so many games and magnet pieces. So, I found one on here (literally, one) so I bought if for my daughter. Please note that it has many small magnets (about the diameter of an M&M) so you won't want it lying around with little ones or an irresponsible youngster. Without the magnetic game pieces the games wouldn't be nearly as fun =)

Nice soft velour interior and exterior. Nice case that zips up, seems well built, no issues with the zipper, works fine. My 8 year old daughter loves this set, great for all ages. It was shipped fast and received in just a couple days, overall great experience.

It's perfect for dice rolling and makes the dice easy to read, and prevents a lot of cheating. My only complaint is that I wish it came in a slightly bigger size. Overall, though, it's nicely constructed and relatively light.

The only problem is that the first time I played it, I learned how to play from someone else. When I bought this product, I attempted to understand the rules from the unclear instructions, and got a bit lost.
Otherwise, it's great. It's simple and fun.

(More customer reviews)Yahtzee is one of my two all-time FAVORITE games. Everyone knows the educational value for children, the fun and conversation it inspires...but there's so much more to Yahtzee. Although luck has something to do with Yahtzee, skill and cunning also play an important part. Also, Yahtzee can be as competitive as you'd LIKE it to be (ante up!). It also is a game that will inspire very warm and wonderful memories. I will always remember my two late uncles' weekly Yahtzee nights. They were very close brothers but, in adulthood, the constraints of family and responsibilities did not allow them to spend much time together alone...until they established their weekly Yahtzee night! They would play for hours on end to the sounds of the dice shaking and spilling, the mild cussing, the laughter and smiles! I carry it with me wherever I go and, inevitably, a routine visit becomes a Yahtzee PARTY! New friends, laughter and fun...how can you beat a combination like that (unless it's a five-of-a-kind YAHTZEE)!!!!!

National Parks Yahtzee Review

(More customer reviews)I like this Yahtzee set mostly because part of the profit goes to our National Parks. It's pretty much the standard Yahtzee game except the dice have park-like stuff on them (a tree, a hiker, etc.) I love the fact that everything fits into the cup and there's a lid. Plus it's pretty light. I threw this into one of our carry-on bags for our last trip and my two kids (age 11 and 6) and I played it in the airport while waiting for our flight. It helps the 6 y.o. with her addition practice and helps the 11 y.o. with strategy and thinking ahead for the different options. (I help the 6 y.o. with that part quite a bit still.) Overall I really liked this toy for the price I paid.
