Thames & Kosmos Biology Genetics and DNA Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My daughter received this for Christmas. There is only one experiement she was really excited to do. The others were a bit 'boring' and had already been done in her 7th grade science class. So, I think it had a great price, but the manufactuer should have thought more carefully about what kids want in a set ... cool, fascinating, and fun. You should not have to purchase a larger set to get more exciting experiments.

National Geographic Conquer Everest Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Played with my wife and an our 11 year old. The game was a tad difficult to assemble, but looks cool when you have fully assembled. The directions are a little difficult to understand, not completely intuitive. That being said, we got moving and took our turns trying to climb to the summit. For me, it was probabaly as challenging the real mountain to win this game (but it was a lot of fun trying).

Skullduggery Cast and Paint Trex Casting Kit with BloPens Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This was great for my 5 yr. old daughtres bday party, she's into it! and after it casted (easy out too) colored it, then coated with sealer, she uses in sandbox for scavenger hunts, and as a puzzle - just don't get it wet or it will deteriorate! Can also make more with extra plaster of paris (party give-aways to take home & decorate with paint)

Educational Insights GeoSafari Prospector's Mystery Rock Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My husband and I got this for our 7 year old daughter as a holiday gift in December 2003. We love it because long after the other holiday gifts have been forgotten about, this one still brings our daughter excitement. She just found the last gem this month (10 months later!). This is a messy gift - when we use it, we lay down newspaper and wear aprons, but nothing ever stained. Looking for the gems does require patience, but I liked that about this gift/toy because it took patience and perseverance in order to obtain the prize - most toys these days are instant gratification. We highly recommend this item.
