(More customer reviews)Note the dimensions. The board and checker pieces look standard-sized in the photo, but they are about one-third smaller than I was expecting. I guess it really is more of a toy than a game. The quality of the board and pieces is high, however.

(More customer reviews)We have played this game only two or three times and two or three of the pieces will not twist up their crowns, which is the whole point of buying this set. So we wind up having to switch these out with some of the captured pieces that have been removed from play.
