Our family had a lot of fun playing this game. The playing pieces are great, very realistic. It definitely helps to have an interest in dog shows as the game mimics the events and experiences found at a real AKC event. Kids will gain a better understanding of everything involved in showing dogs. Lots of fun to play and very much a game for the entire family.

iplay Diggity Dog Review

As a speech pathologist at Play on Words, I am always looking for good games to encourage language. Kids three years and up want a little challenge in their games--not everything left to chance! Diggity Dog is their first pick for fun. Choose your puppy and press the doghouse to listen for the number of barks. Count them out as you land on a space, dig a hole and the little bone sticks to your dog's magnetic nose. See if the color on the underside of the bone matches your dog and collect all three before heading home to win. There's just enough action to keep little hands busy and skill required to keep minds churning. Playing Diggity Dog involves auditory memory (remembering the number of barks), visual memory (remembering where your colored bones are), counting, and conversation negotiating turn-taking and discussing strategy. These are all skills that contribute to language development.

In this adorable first memory board game, kids help the puppies find their bones. Start by pressing on the electronic barking dog, and he will bark the number of spaces you move (1,2 or 3). When your puppy lands on a space beside a bone, he can pick it up using his magnetic nose. If the color of the bone matches your puppy, you get to move it to your doghouse. The first to find three matching bones wins.

Puppy-Opoly Review

My son loves puppies so this was perfect. Our favorite part is having to bark the payments, and getting to adopt puppies. Our game was missing one of the dog cards (bulldog) when we purchased it. We e-mailed Late for the Sky, and they wrote back right away. They sent a replacement card that arrived in less than a week. Great customer service! Would definitely recommend this game to anyone who has kids who love dogs.

Players adopt puppies as they make their way around the board. Woof! Woof! Little kid game play includes barking the number of treats owed when landing on a space, "high pawing" other players and balancing treats on noses. This is a younger version of a property trading game where FUN is the rule and silliness is a must! Flip the deeds over and learn a fun fact about each breed and a puppy training tip too!
