(More customer reviews)I bought my nephews two board games for Christmas: Funky Monkey and Pokemon. Funky Monkey was definitely the game of choice and both boys are avid Pokemon fans. My younger nephew, 5, really enjoyed it and won most of the time. My older nephew, 7, also enjoyed playing . . . even though little brother kept winning! Every time I talk to them they tell me that they have played the game and about how much fun they have with it.

Funky Monkeys is a swingin' good time!Climb and swing as a monkey up the vines and across the jungle gathering as many bananas as you can on your way to the top. But watch out for banana peels. Slip on one and fall all the way to the bottom.In the end the monkey with the most bananas wins Funky Monkeys!

(More customer reviews)My son received this game as a gift. He is seven. We played this as a family along with our four year old daughter. This game entertains them both. It is rare that I find a game that they both can get into. Basically you have 10 cards with pictures on each one. Everyone looks at all of these cards and then they are mixed up and one is taken away. You put the remaining cards face down and briefly turn each one up and then face down again. Then everyone has to guess which card is missing. This is great to sharpen memory skills. We had a great time playing this as a family. The price is great too. My mother is an elementary teacher and says this game is one she needs for her classroom. This is an overall great buy!

A gang of monkeys have broken out of the zoo and stolen a whole pile of items from the zoo's visitors! After all of the items are recovered, one is still missing. Keep your eyes sharp, because a different item will be lost each round. In Monkey Memory, players get to see all of the items once, and then they must quickly determine which item is missing. Everyone places their thumb on their marker card over the symbol matching the item that they feel is correct. Get a monkey coin for each correct answer - the player with the most at the end of the game wins!

(More customer reviews)This is a great game for pre-schoolers who don't quite understand the concept of "winning" when it comes to board games.My daughter received this as a gift when she was 3 years old and loved it. Even when she "loses" it's fun for her. She's now four and this game continues to be one of her favorites. She better understands the objectives now and actually tries to think out the placement of the monkeys.
We've given this game as gifts to other pre-schoolers and get good comments from their parents.

Each player takes his or her turn rotating the spinner to see how many monkeys they should hang from the tree. It takes a steady hand!
