He has learned to look at things closely and compare. As he gets older we'll turn them over and play how it was originally intended. Great for kids of many ages.

Bob the Builder Scoops Construction Site Game Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter got this game for Christmas and we all love it! It's very simple to play, requires no reading and entails two things that all kids (and men) like-construction and destruction! Simply put, you line the board up with tons of plastic I-beams. Spin the spinner and start collecting enough I-beams to build a 3 story tower first and win. The fun part is with the electronic Scoop. If you get him, you pick him up and he starts to spin. Then you drop him on the board. Sometimes he gets you 2 or 3 I-beams at once. Other times, he knocks down a tower (even your own.) The first one to get to three floors gets to put a ceiling with Pilcher the cat on top. You win! But the best part is using Scoop to demolish your tower after the game. The game can be played by any one with just a little finger dexterity and old enough to comprehend the object of the game. We highly recommend this one.

(More customer reviews)We received this as a gift for our son (10), and had no idea what to expect from it. At our last family night, we decided to take it out. Wow! We played this for hours it was so fun! Essentially, you pick a card and try to make the shot it tells you to. The shot might be to roll it off your nose, one bounce and into the cup. Bounce it off floor, against the wall, and into the cup, etc. It even has cards that allow you to create your own custom shot.
Each card informs you how many chances you have to make it. Thus for easy shots the card might give you one or two tries, and complex shots will give you up to five attempts.
Regarding the review about the batteries---frankly there is no need for this to even be electronic. It does not keep score or anything, but merely makes a "cool" sound when the shot is made. Scoring is kept by keeping the card's shot you made. If you don't make the shot, you pass the card to the next person who has to try and make that shot. We found this a lot of fun as members of our family made claims such as "that's an easy shot" during others' turns, but of course once their turn came the laugh was on them!
We ended up bouncing that little ball all over the house trying every shot we could think of. This can be used as a great family game, or even a drinking game with your buddies. ;-)
