I embellished and added a second invite and also a sympathy card to those closest to the murdered victom included in a oversized envelope. I had 100% RSVP's on the first round of invites. The kitchen was set up for the dinner party and I had wonderful music to fill the ambiance and the essence of the main course was great. I would read the whole game to familarize yourself as host however...the wording is sometimes difficult and if pre-read you can alert your guests to the "you" which should be "I" when it comes to the person reading the script. After drinking a few glasses of wine and all ....the host should be very familiar with all details to pull of the smooth surprise finish. It was difficult figuring out where the clues were to come in without pre reading and having a couple of glasses of wine when the guests arrived...again pre reading will give the host the tools needed for the grand finale. I think it's also helpful to give "permission" to your invited guests to go to second hand stores for costuming. Second hand stores are great for themed china and vases for flowers...etc. to make your dinner table over the top interesting and for goodness sake don't forget the flowers and candles...and a surprise lemoncello drink to finish off the evening. I'd love to share our photos with you all..and, have a good camera to share later those fun dinner table memories with great entertaining friends.
