My husband and I bought this game not having played it previously. It just sounded like fun since we are both such movie buffs. Well after reading the directions, I was a little worried about playing it but we tried it and just loved it. My friends and I love playing board games when we get together and while they were uncertain about being able to play it, they are not the movie nuts that we are, they had a great time. They have purchased it as well. We've played many games in one night! The object of the game is for your team to get two actor cards, 2 location cards, one director card and one screenplay card to win. You collect the cards by earning points for the questions your team answers. The game cards have five sections called "Take 1 through to Take 5. Take 1 gives you a category, drama, comedy, etc., and five clues for your team to guess a movie title. Take 2 has your teammate guess either an actor's name or movie title - you have to think of the clues to give. Take 3 is a riot - drawing a movie title is a blast. Take 4 is guessing an actor's name by not giving their movie titles -- just giving tidbits about their life, the storyline of one of their movies, or by doing an imitation of them. Take 5 gives you three movie titles and your team has to tell which one doesn't belong. All game play is by timer and each team has an opportunity to steal the points if your team does not get the answer correctly (exception to this is Take 2 which you cannot steal). The movies go from really old, black & white, to today's movies. The questions run from the really challenging to easy. We are really glad we bought it.
