(More customer reviews)I don't normally write reviews, but after reading the only review for this item I felt I should. My girlfriend recently introduced me to the game a few months ago when we visited her aunt and uncle. I wanted to get the game for us to play. I checked the local Toys R Us they had the regular Rummikub for sale it was $20. I could tell it was cheaply made with plastic tiles. I then looked online for awhile and found this set and ordered it. We were very pleased with our purchase and talked all day about how nice of a set it was. The set has very well done ceramic tiles and a nifty carrying case. My only complaint would be that one of the hinges had come undone during shipping but was easily fixed. I come back today to buy a few more to give out for Christmas presents.

I love games. Board games, card games, video games, you name it, I'm interested. When I was in elementary school, my family would have game night ever night after finishing our homework and eating dinner. We would play a different game each night. I can remember how much I looked forward to our game playing. My mom, dad, sister and I had time to ourselves and that meant more to me than anything else. As you've probably guessed, I had a wonderful childhood.
Dad taught me how to play Rummy when I was five years old and still to this day it is one of my favorite games. Rummino is a Rummy meets Scrabble type of game. This game can be played with 2 or more player and is geared toward ages 8 and older. To win, you have to be the player with the most points.
My husband kicked my butt. Don't worry, I've demanded a re-match for tonight. I hope he's prepared to lose. We had a lot of fun trying to outsmart each other. This is a great game to bring family together.

Travel Rummikub Game Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this to replace an old travel Rummikub, because the numbers were wearing off the tiles so badly. I'm disappointed with the new ones for 3 reasons.
1. The new tiles are inconveniently tiny - their fronts are about a quarter the size of the tile fronts on the old tiles, and they're very thin.
2. The blue and black numbered tiles are hard to tell apart. The blue numbers on the new tiles are much darker than the blue numbers on the old tiles.
3. The 'patented' tile holders have an annoying design such that the whole thing tips and spills the tiles if one bumps the front overhang.
I couldn't see any of these problems before I bought the set, because there doesn't seem to be any description of the size.
