(More customer reviews)We got this for my three year old daughter, who really, really loves the story "Little Red Riding Hood." These felt figures are very nice quality and very well thought out! There are 15 cut outs in the set, including two scenes - a forest path and grandmother's house. They even included a black and white insert with the story printed out and some pages to color. And the toy is made in the USA! We are so pleased that we made this purchase.

(More customer reviews)I love using felts. They are great for teaching simple concepts to my children. These felts we used when spending time learning about health and fitness and eating a heathy diet. We haven't used the actual "fruit of the spirit" words yet, but will get to that at some time as well.
I love that they were pre-cut, making them ready to use right out of the box. They were a fair price overall, but shipping was a bit high for the actual packaging used.
I am actually starting to use felts more and more as a fun and quiet play/learning activity for my kids. Teachnology is great, but there is something to be said for less bells, whistles, and noise. These felts are durable, washable, and the pictures on them are very realistic.

Take it from a kindergarten/pre-k teacher, this is a wonderful "story time" alternative after the book has been read again and again!! Great colors of felt and good size for small hands and plenty of pieces to be able to retell the story, even if you "change it up" and makeup your own story!!!

(More customer reviews)We found this at a store while we were moving oversees and thought it would be perfect for the move...flat! Our two daughters found this entertaining while in the car seat or on the air plane. Pieces do get dropped a lot but we haven't lost any yet. My three year old is understanding the concepts of where certain animals and things should be on the board. It's fun watching them figure out (or just putting one thing on top of another) where they want to put everything. Would look into ordering more for us or for gifts.

FeltTales Pretty Princess Storyboard Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter for her 3rd birthday. She uses it exactly as it is meant to be. The only problem is that she wants to try and use all the felt pieces at one time, which is impossible. As she gets older and plays with it more, I think she will understand that she can create different "stories" with the pieces instead of trying to use them all at one time. My only real complaint is that I wish the compartment that came with it, to keep all the felt pieces, was bigger - as it cannot hold all of them and that can be a problem when trying to store it after she is finished playing with it.

(More customer reviews)When our friends visited from Great Britian, their [...] year old daughter toted around her felt board (indoor pet theme) by Felt Kids (a very cute line of felts made by the same makers of Thomas the Train). My [...] year old son LOVED it! I searched everywhere, only to find out they are no longer in production.
I found Felt Tales online and ordered 4 of them, one for him, one for his 3yo friend's (girl) birthday, and 2 for his cousins. The mother of the 3 yo told me later that it was her favorite gift. Every night before bed, her toddler plays out a story about the zoo keeper and her job at the zoo. My son makes up stories too and loves to feed the animals. His cousins will get theirs at Christmas and I'm sure the response will be the same.
The toy has some small felts, so adult supervision is needed before age 3yo.
After ordering online, I also found them in a "mom & pop" toy store in the mall.
