(More customer reviews)I don't have the money to buy a very expensive set of shell and slate stones, so I purchased these. So far, I have been happy with them. They are a decent set of glass stones; they make a nice sound on the board and feel okay in the hand. I really enjoy go, but my husband doesn't. Of course you can use the set to play gomoku (connect 5) or othello.

Elegant yet sturdy. The reason why these Korean made glass Go stones are popular in Go clubs and tournaments. These stones have a nice feel to them that is smooth, rounded and cool, with a little heft to them. Made from a mixture of rock and glass. Manufactured by Shinkwang Baduk. Since 1948.
