Play the forces of good and be represented by dwarves, elves, sprites, angels, knights, wizards, and good dragons, OR take on the sinister role of evil, playing the part of zombies, molds, skeletons, beasts, ogres, trolls, and giants.
This game is surprisingly easy to learn. The instructions included are crystal clear, and it comes with several reference cards that make play SO much easier.
Yet this game can be easy as well as challenging. It is always possible to advance the quality of your army, as well as the quality of your playing. As soon as you get the basic rules down (in other words, right away) the strategy makes itself clear, and the true fun begins. There are no limits to how good you can get!
Although you can advance your army by buying boosters, this is not a money-eating horror. Unlike most trading card games, it is barely necessary to buy extra boosters unless you have a desire to create extra armies. I personally recommend buying between one and four boosters a year as just a general upkeep.
Although this game requires a certain degree of dedication, it is very easy to become attached to, paticularily if yo like fantasy games as well as battle of strategy games.
Every penny you spend will be more than worth it. I strongly reccomend you buy this!
