(More customer reviews)My 4.5 yo can set this game up himself, and understands the rules pretty well. It's a fun game to play - even the 2 yo is enjoying being a part of it. I love that it's cooperative, too.

Our cooperative games encourage players to work together towards a common goal. Players help each other and are never 'against' each other enabling youngsters to play with older brothers and sisters without always being beaten. These are great family games. Walk in the Woods nurtures careful observation, clear thinking, and memory skills. Sharing. a walk through the woods yields ample opportunities for observing wild flowers and butterflies, to help each other gather goodies, and to keep an eye out for nasty stuff like poison ivy, stinging nettle, and biting bugs. Players share their remedies for the problems and return home with baskets of goodies, quiet minds, and hearts deeply nourished by the natural world. Kids will want to play this game over and over. Includes 12 x 12" board, dangers, remedies, goodies, baskets, rules for basic and advanced games. 1-8 players.Family Pastimes is the largest provider of cooperative games. All of their games are made with recycled components - game boards, label papers, bond papers, and cardboard boxes. Their dice and pawns are plastic which are made in the USA. All colorings are lead-free. Any wooden markers are finished with water-based colors. They use soy inks and water-based glues.
