They discribe this as a card game, but you don't have to hold the cards in your hand, you just fan the entire pile out across the floor and take turns picking a card from the pile, And the peices are heavy like puzzle peices, not thin like cards.
You spread out the cards on the floor, picture down. Take turns picking a card. If the card doesn't match any of the snakes that are on the floor then you just set it down to start a new snake. Each snake must have a head, tail and atleast one middle section. The more peices you get on the snake the better, but the initial object to the game is to form the most snakes and then move it over to you side of the floor(the snake pit). If there is a tie in the number of snakes, then the longest snake wins.
This game is appropriate for ages 3 and up. This is a fairly simple game. I would say most 7 yr old and older would find it boring unless playing with a younger child.
We have two sets, so we can make longer snakes.
Need to play this game on the floor.
