(More customer reviews)I was given a Spanish version of Bananagrams that I used for my Spanish classes. I was so impressed that I invested in 6 sets of the English version from Amazon. The "Scrabble-like" format, but on an individual basis, uses all of the player's own tiles. It creates a need for quick action to compose a crossword using all of their tiles first. My colleagues and I use them for reinforcment in reading and spelling and as incentive rewards. What a nifty tool! Students quickly learn word patterns. Students are fully engaged and don't hesitate to challenge each other's words too. The most often heard phrase? "Is_______ a word?"
