(More customer reviews)I am surprised that Disney did not make this monopoly edition a little more attractive to the eyes. Especially when compared to other Disney editions. This edition is designed for Mickey fans and collectors and will not necessarily appeal to all Disney fans. Also no special rules are included in this version. This is what you will find in this edition:
BOARD: Very plain (Mickey's face in the center) and classic, unlike the usual colorful boards that distinguish other Disney versions.
TOKENS: Pewter tokens featuring Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy.
PROPERTIES: These are Mickey Mouse's movies like: The Mad Dog, Ye Olden Days, Mickey's Good Deed, The Nifty Nineties, Mickey Down Under, The Prince and The Pauper, Fantasia, Steam Boat Willie and more.
PROPERTY DEEDS: Completely plain and no art whatsoever.
TRAINS: Replaced with The Mickey Mouse Club, The Wonderful World of Disney, The Mouse Factory and House of Mouse.
WATER WORKS/ELECTRIC COMPANY: Mickey Avenue/Walt Disney Studios
COMMUNITY CHEST and CHACE Cards: These are Original and Present Day Mickey. They have very beautiful art work on them. Actually these cards are what make this edition worth buying.
MONEY: Starts from classic Mickey on the one dollar bill and continues will the changes Mickey has had during the years all the way to present day Mickey on the 500 dollar bill.
HOUSES and HOTELS: Same ol', same ol'.
Overall this version is nice for collectors. But if you are looking for something more colorful Disney has other versions that are more beautiful than this one. Enjoy.
