The game deals with over 60 popular television sitcoms from the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. Shows such as Brady Bunch, Happy Days, Gilligan's Island, Cheers, The Jeffersons, The Cosby Show, etc. Unlike all other trivia board games that continuously repeat the same play process (roll dice, land on a block a get asked a question based on that block), and simply change the theme, there are no dice in this game. In addition to the comical questions, the patented play process is an integral part to the fun of the game. Players get to choose the question they want to be asked after they hear their sitcom options at different levels of difficulty (bookworm, channel surfer, rerun junkie or couch potato)! Every card is different. Board advancement (or the ability to send others backwards) is based on the difficulty of the chose question.
Different from most trivia games of the past, Flashback Games' main objective is to provide games where the novice can compete and have as much fun as the expert. Win or lose, right or wrong, everyone has fun! Isn't that what games are all about?
