(More customer reviews)The box says that it's for 12+, but I find that more often than not, this game is for adults. I bought this game two years ago because that evening, I was hosting a party and needed something to spice things up. I had no idea what it was really about but the directions seemed interesting. Needless to say, we had a blast that night and every other time that we played the game.
The game proceeds in three rounds and played with teams. The object of the game is to try to get your teamates to guess as many famous people as you can. The people range from authors, poets, artistis, musicians, actors, even fictional characters. The first round, you can say and do anything. The second round, you can only say ONE word and pantomine the rest. The last and hardest round, you can't say a single word. Everything has to be acted out.
Yes, it's not a totally orginal idea and yes, there will be famous people whom you've never heard of! Don't let that stop you though! Even if you don't know who the celebrity is, there are ways that you can still get your teammates to guess them. Also, there is a little booklet that comes with the game that explains who everyone is/was.
In short, whenever we play, I laugh so hard my sides start to hurt and my cheeks start to ache! You'll find your friends (and even yourself!) doing the zaniest things!

The fast-paced party game of multiple personalities! Over 800 Famous People crammed into a little box! Now it's up to you to let them out... OK, the idea of this game is to race through the Deck of Fame and get your teammate(s) to guess who's on your card. Each team gets only 30 seconds per turn and the Deck passes from team to team until it's empty. Most cards collected wins the game. Sounds pretty fast and easy...? Ah, but there are three rounds and you've only made it through the first. Rounds Two and Three are played with the same Deck but place limits on what you can say and do. It's a bit more challenging... and absolutely hilarious. Time's UP! takes about a minute to learn and you'll end up laughing your head off. And then you'll want to play it again. And again.
