(More customer reviews)The board itself is really heavy. All the pieces are very detailed and are a nice weight--they do not look or feel "cheap". The sides of the board have castle mosaics "carved" into it and the gilt dragons, like the pieces, are extremely detailed and quite lovely. The actual playing board that goes on top is gold and silver with "cracking" to make it look aged/antique. This was well worth the $45!!!
