(More customer reviews)So I generally buy any Simpsons game, and some are fun and some are disappointing, but this game was a blast with a small group of friends to play and talk during. For adults, it can easily be modified to a drinking game as well if you really would like.
First of all, the game play is quick and simple. The rules take a few seconds to learn, but the strategy takes a little longer. This is a version of the game "Pirates Dice", which if you have never played, can be a blast. The point is to be the player with dice left at the end of the game. You take turns in a circle "Bidding" on number of dice between all players that are of a certain number (Which includes the possibility of a "wild"). Once someone bids, the next player has to either raise the bid or challenge the bid. The bid can never go lower during a round. If you challenge and win, the bidder loses a dice and if you challenge and lose, you lose a dice. It s rather simple.
Honestly, I am not sure if kids would enjoy it a whole lot, it is much more of a social game, the kind you play to pass the time and hang out with buddies instead of childhood entertainment, but for those purposes, I recommend it highly.
Really, you can play the game with a bunch of dice and some cups, there is nothing that you really need out of this game set, but it always adds fun when you can play with Simpsons characters.
The game includes four "Duff" Dice Rolling cans (Which store the dice when not playing as well), a set of dice for each of the four cans, and a "Duff" plastic bag to store the cans in for later use I suppose or just for fun.
Overall, worth the money for a good time for teenagers and adults.
