(More customer reviews)First played this game at the 2007 Board Game Geek Convention in Dallas with four other good friends and we all laughed the whole time! Hello to Amy, Debra, Jeff and Tim! It's a great way to get to know your buddies and their materialistic desires!
The object is to be the first person to satisfy your wishes as both a gift giver and gift receiver. You exchange gifts ranging in point values from 1 to 4 (the gifts with higher points get more outlandish). Beware incorrect gift decisions as a giver or receiver or you will go backwards on the scoring track.
It's a great party game with fun for all ages and it only takes about 1.5 hours (including rules explanation) but could easily take 45 minutes to one hour with experienced players. Each card is double-sided and the starting player can pick a side to start each round.
***A word to parents:*** there are some cards that are too risque for certain age groups (parents can easily remove these from the game ahead of time, if this is a concern). This could also be a great workplace "teambuilding" game if you also take care to remove certain cards that could be perceived as HR issues waiting to happen. Otherwise, enjoy all your fine new treasures! This game is a great value with lots of fun for many years to come! Plus, the production value is very high and the bits are adorable!
