I originally bought this version as a gift for a friend, we played it together and it was so much fun I had to order another one for myself! Watching the clips from Movies, Music Videos and News broadcasts were fun for remembering the good (and sometimes not so good) events of the 80's. We played it with our children as well, and realized it's educational too, many times we stopped game play to finish the story a News broadcast discussed or expand on a trivia question the kids asked about and even found ourselves "googling" topics when we couldn't remember how it ended.
Party play mode is great for sitting around the living room with friends, no need to get out the game board, all you need is a tv and dvd player (or laptop). The game disk randomly plays questions, clips and puzzles on the screen, as you try your hand at remembering all the songs, slogans, stars and events of an entire decade! What were you doing when.......?
