(More customer reviews)This was on my sister's wish list and after reading the description, I was a little skeptical. I wasn't sure how much fun this would be but I figured I'd give it a shot. It would be a good break from our usual favorite, Cranium.
It was a little slow at first since it takes some time to get used to giving commands, but once you play for a little while, it gets easier. The same goes for the person doing the drawing. Once you get the hang of it though, it is pretty close to Pictionary. One of the differences is that sometimes you can do a better job of guessing by listening to the person giving the directions than actually looking at the drawing. Sometimes it just doesn't translate well from spoken word to drawing, so listening helps.
One of the funniest parts is seeing what the other teams' drawings look like after the round is over. It usually gives us some of the biggest laughs of the night. Let's just say some people are much better direction givers than others. :)
All in all, it is a fun concept for a game. It is a good change of pace from some of the games in our normal rotation, but it didn't jump to the top of the list of favorites. It can be frustrating for someone who doesn't do a good job of verbalizing what is in their head, but we'll definitely play it again.

Two teams race to identify drawings done by their own team members. But, the artists don??t know what they are drawing--they can only follow the instructions given by another team member. Laughter erupts as players attempt to follow direction and to guess what is being drawn. With backseat drawing, there's no time to stop and ask directions-- the fun never stops.
