(More customer reviews)Both the code pegs and the key pegs are really small and difficult to grasp. This may be the case with the "full-sized" version as well; it has been 30 years since I played that one, so I can't say. The size of the pegs aside, the game case itself is built flimsily. The pegs do not stay in place because the compartment doors do not stay closed, so we're always fishing the little tiny pegs out of the inaccessible corners of the canvas case. And when we unzip the case, the pegs go flying around. Not practical when traveling. I will say that I had (excessively?) high expectations for the game, because we love, love, love our attache Yahtzee!!
As for the game of Mastermind, it is awesome. My six-year-old loves to play. Hidden analytical skills come to light, Scooby Doo is forgotten for a while, we both have fun together.
Recommended buy, probably better in another design.
