(More customer reviews)This is a fabulous game for families. The award winning Word on the Street party game is now even better for family game time.
Kids will have a ton of fun spelling their way to victory. Not only do they get to exercise their creativity by thinking of words that fit a category, but then they get to be challenged with spelling it out. And since they will be working in teams, they don't have to feel bad if they can't do it all themselves. They'll have someone else to help them along the way.
And it doesn't take very long to play - which is good because we can never stop with just one round. Someone is always calling out to play again.

Word on the Street Junior brings the fun and excitement to the entire family! Two teams alternate taking turns "on the street" game board trying to capture eight letter tiles. A category card is read aloud and the timer starts. Players from the team on the street brainstorm words that fit the category. The team agrees on a word and moves each corresponding letter tile towards their side of the street before time runs out. Move a letter completely off the game board to capture it. The first team to capture eight letter tiles wins Word on the Street Junior!
Recommended for ages 8 and up, Word on the Street Junior takes 5 minutes to learn, plays in about 20-30 minutes, and encourages vocabulary development, creative thinking, teamwork, and fun!
