(More customer reviews)We purchased this game 3 years ago, when our daughters were 4 and 6 years old. When we got it, we played it every night for several weeks and now, three years later, it remains a family favorite. The fact that it is a cooperative game is a great plus: the game ends with no tears or bitter feelings. But its staying power depends not on the fact that it is cooperative, but that it is different every time you play it, and doesn't get boring with time. While I have, frankly, been bored to tears playing some games with my kids, I enjoy playing "The Secret Door" with them. So, I'd definitely recommend this game as well as another by Family Pastimes: Roundup, which has all the staying power of The Secret Door.
