(More customer reviews)The title says it all. This game is really fun to play. The mat is huge, but fit on our dining room table. The game "pieces" are excellent and more like toys than game pieces. The quality is evident throughout. I highly recommend playing the advanced rules.
I would add two house rules.
1) A pirate must either return to his/her homeport or have a skirmish before loading another cargo from an island.
2) Each player may move a minimum of one square and shoot one time per turn. All spinner results are in addition to the minimums.
