This is a double sided board for use with the various Memoir 44 expansions like 'Mediterranian Theater'. One side is the desert (sand) and the other is winter (snow). You get nothing else when you buy this and the board is of the same quality and size as the original Memoir 44 game.
Its only an essential purchase if you have bought the expansions to the original game.
