(More customer reviews)I got this game a couple of years ago, and it's very popular with my Wednesday game group. It's better and more cutthroat than Perudo because in Perudo, you lose only one die per turn. In this game you can wipe out completely in one turn. Here's how it works:
Everyone gets five dice and one cup, there's 30 dice and six cups, so up to six can play. If less than six are playing, you can give six dice to each player. Players shake the dice in their cups (which can be very noisy) and then peek, without showing the others. Bidding then begins, with each player saying how many dice of a certain number are showing (7 threes, 8 fours, etc.). The ones, shown by a star on the dice, are wild and can count for any number. Bidding continues till one player says "no dice." All the players then reveal what they have. If there's at least as many dice showing as the last bid, the player calling "no dice" loses. If there's less dice showing than the last bid, the player making the last bid loses. You lose the amount of dice from the last bid. If you said there are 10 threes showing and there's only 8 threes, the person bidding 10 threes would lose two dice. Players continue till they lose all of their dice. The last person with dice is the winner.
A good dice game that combines luck, stratgy and bluffing! Plus this version allows up to six players. If you like dice games and you want something other than Yahtzee, get this Milton Bradley version of Liar's Dice. It's out of print, but I believe amazon.com has it.

It's a gutsy game of bids and bluffs! The bidder claims 12 three's are under the dice cups. Is twelve too many, or not enough? Should you push the bid higher, or challenge the bluff? In this game, either decision is risky? What's under those dice cups is anybody's guess! So the bid gets bigger and the bluffs get bolder...Until somebody finally says "NO WAY!" and challenges. The dice are uncovered, the truth is revealed and whoever guessed wrong loses dice! The winner of this gutsy game is the very last player with dice. So put on your very best poker face, and get ready for some challenging fun!
