(More customer reviews)I played this game with 4 of my friends(3 black,2 white)and although the board graphics and cards are not as nicely made as the real Monopoly we found every aspect of the game amusing. We had a GREAT time laughing and telling jokes and poking fun at each other for hours while playing Ghettopoly. I read that this game was taken off the market and the creator sued because the game was deemed racist but I didn't really find anything racist or off color about it. The drug and sexual references would be much more offensive than any racial connotation. But then again, that may be only for a prude because we found the drug references and sexual jargin not offensive but shocking and hilarious. There are a lot of little things you notice while playing this game that make it even funnier. If you have a sense of humor like Dave Chappelle or Kat Williams and like blaxplotation type of movies you will love this game. It's definitely one of a kind. This is definitely a game for adults. Not a game if you are easily offended or white- LOL just kidding.

Some thought the game was "tasteless" and "offensive" due to its racial overtones.Supporters have argued that the board game is scarcely more racist in its portrayal of America's minority ghettos than some more accepted elements of popular culture, such as popular hip hop music.
