(More customer reviews)The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the artwork of the Mesozoic scene. The diorama is very high quality and the scene spans the environments of the different periods of the Mesozoic Era. On the back of the board is a poster explaining the climate changes and the evolution of the different dinosaur groups(?) during each period. This will be a gift for my nephews but my older son was all over it - younger son really was into the magnet sets. Four of the magnets are collectible to go with the Discover Packs sold separately. Another 16 regular magnets in the set are other dinosaurs from the period, eggs, skeletons, plants etc. There were magnet stands too so the dinosaurs can standing upright, "fighting" (of course) in the foreground or on the board. I like the realism and high educational value - my kids were into the fun - and assume that will go for the nephews as well.
