Zombiegeddon is a game is for 2-4 players. The game board and pieces are well constructed, with the supply discs being made of a sturdy cardboard and the player pieces from a solid plastic. I don't really think the name Zombiegeddon fits it much, there are only a few zombie pieces in the game, but I don't think that hurts it. It's primarily about gathering supplies and trying to out-wit and trap your opponents.
The game is quite simple to learn and the mechanics are easy, but the gameplay is full of strategy. You start with four pieces trying to gather supplies from the board, while trying to block the other players from taking those that you want. Each supply is given a point value (with some increasing in points the more you have-> 1=1 point, 2=3, etc) You can pick up weapons and defeat enemies for higher points as well. After taking all the supplies from the board you go into bomb shelters and re-emerge(in any shelter where you dropped off supplies in the first stage, so you can start the post-bomb stage with 0-4 pieces out) with the board filled again with supplies and enemies. After claiming everything from the second stage the game ends and the person with most points wins. It's quite simple, but good fun. I would recommend this to anyone who likes strategy games.

Well, it was nice while it lasted! You have gotten word that the end is near, and Armageddon is right around the corner. (Actually, it begins tonight!) Since it may be a while before you can get to the store, today would be a good time to gather as many supplies as possible. After all, tomorrow might be the beginning of a long, cold, (nuclear) winter!Reiner Knizia's Zombiegeddon is a fast-paced, perfect-information, strategy game. Each player spends the first half of the game rushing around the board collecting supplies and trying to stop your pesky neighbors from taking stuff that is rightfully yours. (At least as far as you are concerned!)The second half of the game is spent trying to survive. Sure there is some good stuff around, but it certainly isn't plentiful and let's face it, everyone is still trying to take it before you do! (Whoever has the most stuff at the end of the game wins!)
