Battle Cry 150 is a great 2 player game. It has really nice pieces, cards and board (except for the flag stickers, which are difficult to work with)
The game tries to make you understand what it feels like to command a large army. You play cards from your hand to send orders to you units and generals. There's never enough orders, and your best plans can fall apart right in front of you simply because your troops won't do what you need them to do. This system is called "commands and colors" and has spun off other games that cover various eras of warfare (from ancients all the way to WW2)
Command, Control and Communications are the "Three Cs" of warfare that generals throughout the ages have had to contend with. It is a timeless issue. Battle Cry 150 teaches that lesson in a fast, fun, and challenging way. Two thumbs up!
