It's very educational, with beautifully-illustrated cards representing different horses that tell about each ones' breeds, colors, markings, etc. It also includes a handy booklet with general information on horses as well as game rules and plays. The game is actually 3 in 1; with two versions for multiple players and one version for a single player. Another bonus is that to play you don't need extensive knowledge of horses - anyone can play! I have over 5 other different horse board games and this one is my favorite with my friends and family. It is money well spent.
