(More customer reviews)I immediately laminated the cards and playing boards before letting the kids play with it. This turned out to be a good thing, since milk was spilled on it the very first game. Lamination spared it any damage. OTherwise, it is made of a heavy "card stock" type paper that would not hold up to moisture well. Bought this as a birthday gift for 8-yr-old that loves birds. Four-year-old loves playing it also, thanks to pictures on cards. Pictures are very nice illustrations. Older child and friends enjoyed it very much. I like that it teaches them names of common birds of North America.

Bird Bingo is a game for 2 - 6 players. The game includes 42 illustrated cards with everything from "American Goldfinch" to "Western Meadowlark." There are chips to mark your spot. Great learning tool and fun, too! Ages 3 to adult.

"Find It Games" Bird Watch Review

(More customer reviews)Of the six Find It games I have purchased (and tested), this is probably the one game for the more mature player (for identifying the birds only). This On A Bird Watch game is different in that instead of having a bird shaped object, there is a disk with a colored picture of a bird. There are 43 objects/items to find such as a camera, feather, nest, walking stick, hat, binoculars, etc. that are colored and blend in with the pellets (brown, tan, red, green) which makes it more difficult to find and identify, and lets not forget that elusive penny. The disks with the picture of the bird can be identified by using the 24 page Bird Guide included with the game. This is a very nice guide on birds, showing in color and naming birds (with common and formal name), giving the range the bird can be found, migration information, height, weight and wingspan of each. As with all Find It games, an object check off pad is included which is also shown on the end of game. Very entertaining, easy to carry and use, and this one makes a great gift to your favorite bird watcher.

Find It Games Glitz and Glamour - Pink Ends Review

(More customer reviews)We got this for our niece who is one of those young gals all about the pink. We read reviews on the game (and it's multiple off shoots - sports, the beach, etc) and thought it sounded great.
Our niece opened it up and immediatly loved the color - it took about 10 seconds to explain the rules. She and my daughter played for about an hour and then put it down and played wii. I thought, oh well, there went $19. However, the next morning they were up playing again for about an hour and played for about an hour later that night and they both love it.
The game is simple, you shake the tube to find the items written on an included scorepad. This is one of those games that adults will quasi-enjoy and kids seem to really enjoy. I've heard it's great for the car, which would make sense due to the contents (scorepad, pencil, and the tube). As far as educational value, not much, some reading and some basic recognition of objects. Not an award winner, but certainly different than most games and something portable, high quality and doesn't take alot of space.

The simplicity of this toy is sinister, it is deeply mesmerizing toy, a sealed tube with oodles of stuff hidden within, some items being harder than others to find.
I'd suggest this to anyone with a waiting room as being ten times better than old magazines.

(More customer reviews)After purchasing five games (At The Zoo, Sports, Glitz & Glamour, Kids Version and Bird Watch) and testing each to be sure all were in proper working condition before gifting, the conclusion on each is that they are a very clever, addictive, themed game everyone can enjoy, anywhere, anytime, at any age. Each game is a different brightly colored themed container, which means the pellets and objects blend together very nicely, making it even more difficult to find objects. Hunting for the hidden objects in the colored plastic pellets can be fun and frustrating, since shaking it, twisting it, spinning it does not always bring the object to the surface, but buries it. Each Find It comes with a object check off pad which is also shown on the the end of game. The number of objects/items to be found range from 39 to 48, depending on the theme. These games are very portable and easy to carry in tote bags or backpacks.
Find It Kids & Glitz & Glamour were donated to a fifth grade classroom as a reward (time earned to play) for small classroom achievements. Students learn object identification, early ready/letter recognitition, deductive reasoning and patience! I have not received any feedback as yet but know it will be fun for all the students. One has been gifted to an adult who is recuperating from surgery and will be spending lots of down time sitting, and waiting in medical offices.
