(More customer reviews)Milton Bradley originally released this game in 1991. It was re-released after 2000 most likely due to the million dollar game shows that were popping up on TV at the time. Everyone starts out with $20 million dollars (play money, natch). In turn, everyone reads hypothetical questions with choices. Others must guess which choice you would select (A, B, C or D) and secretly place the answer with the amount of money bet. In each case, it should be assumed that you are VERY wealthy. A sample question:
My favorite restaurant puts a new dress code into effect. I am turned away because I'm not dressed properly. I would:
A - simply take my business to another restaurant, my money's as good as anyone else's
B - open a new restaurant directly across the street to compete with my former favorite restaurant
C - buy the restaurant that turned me away and fire the person that turned me away
D - take an ad out in the city newspaper telling everyone to boycott this restaurant, and tell why
People betting the correct answer win the amount they bet, those who don't lose that amount. Some questions are I agree/I disagee (50/50 shot) and some offer three choices only. The rules state a maximum $3 million for each question. One thing I tried with my group is for the last round, you can raise the amount ($5 mil) and on the last question let people go "all in" if they wish. This is a fun game where you get to learn things about your fellow players. You can find used copies of this game at a relatively cheap price. If you're looking for a fun party type game to spice up your game night, consider this one.
