The marble was brittle and just broke, one piece broke when we were putting the set away, my son just picked it up (I saw the whole thing). He was very disappointed and looked at me in shock. I emailed the company and they never responded after several emails and 10 days went by. I had to get Amazon on them and they finally emailed today with a one line response "send it back and we'll issue a refund". The Chess board and company are a joke; don't waste your time on this one. We are now a more then 30 days from the start of this mess and we just received our refund. Beware of Marble 'n things, they are a BAD company.
