(More customer reviews)Hollywood Blockbuster is an adaptation of a popular game over from Europe. It can be played with up to 5 players and the rules are pretty simple. You get a hand of 3 movies that you want to produce, all with empty slots where directors, movie stars, effects and guest stars would go. So each turn you bid on different things that are available on that turn that can help you finish your movie. When you complete all the spaces on the card, your movie is done and is scored based on the value of the pieces you used to finish it. A 5 star director is worth more points than a 3 star one and so on. The directors and stars (as well as the movies) have parody names on them based on some of Americas more famous actors so it's good for a chuckle. If you are into party games that have simple rules and a group of people that enjoy making fun of things, this is a game you could enjoy.
