(More customer reviews)This is one of those games where you need to be able to think several moves ahead ... but the younger kids (8 & 9) were REALLY good at it, and were kicking butt on Christmas day. There must have been a stack of 15 games under the tree, and this is what everyone wanted to play.
If your family likes games like Othello and Mastermind (other 2 player games that require you to think ahead), you will like this game too.
The only issue is that we have several color blind members in our family (and a couple of the colors are so close that it was even difficult for the non-color challenged to tell the difference). We had to use a sharpie to put letters on the tiles so that everyone could play.
Bottom line: its fun, forces you to think through the moves a bit without being frustrating for the kids or boring for the adults, and is pretty fast to play
