It is more challenging that have toy 'fun' but that is what it is supposed to be, along with educational; it is made of quality wood with great holes and silkscreen/printing on it. If you think you want one shop/order early - this doesn't use batteries nor does it hook up to a GameBoy; it will be difficult to find. My card/game group were pondering games we were aware of but haven't either played recently or ever played. Cribbage was one of the games. If you are new to the game you don't really have to buy a 4-Track if there are four people that are going to play; but it IS convenient for long term score keeping. Also, this board has on it more Cribbage Game options than any of the other game boards I've found; It has a sliding cover on the bottom for game piece (peg) storage. One site offered an optional storage bag for it that would hold the board, extra game pieces, a deck of cards and a rule book or two; the Cribbage Board and shipping at that site was more expensive and the bag was out of stock. Amazon.Com and all Sellers indicated that IT would not make it in time for Christmas without using a more expensive shipping option. I had thought this would be neat for a Xmas gift but I didn't think of it until a few days before Christmas so I still ordered it at that time for a New Years gift.
