(More customer reviews)The Gruts come in Blades (4 of them, typical infantry) and Arrows (3 of them). Neither unit is really remarkable on its own - they're pretty similar to the vikings or the romans. The cool feature both units have is "Bonding". Blade Gruts have "Orc Champion Bonding" and anytime you move the blade gruts, you can move an orc champion first for free. In the basic set, that's Grimnak, but if you have Heroes of Bleakwood, you can count Tornak too. The Arrow Gruts have "Beast Bonding" which so far means "Mimring Bonding", but that's not all bad.
Both pieces lead to some fun tactics with being able to keep the orcs and their leaders together (for the blades) and possibly unexpected dragon attacks for the gruts. This is a great expansion.
